The news are: we are the proud winners of the first edition of the Champagne Blind Tasting Competition in Spain! The event took place at the beginning of November in Madrid and was organized by Arrabal 18 and Mibil Distribución. Our team came first among 30 other very strong teams, mostly professionals. There were 7 champagnes to discover (grape varietie(s), vintage/NV, region, sub-region/village, cuvée, producer, lieu-dit/assemblage etc) and each team had 10 minutes for each glass.
Our team was composed of us, Loves4wine (captain) and gabi.abeauty, alongside our friend vinoporcopas.
